Director of Employee Experience & Development,
In the summer of 2013, Ivy came across an opportunity to join a small, but growing, outdoor consumer products company called YETI Coolers. This would be her first in-house recruiting gig as she always worked on the consulting side of the recruiting industry. She was excited by the opportunity to be the company’s full time Recruiter helping YETI attract talent from all over the US introducing them to YETI and to Austin. Over the past 4+ years, Ivy has lead the recruiting initiatives and helped the company’s leadership team grow the business from just 75 employees domestically to over 500 employees internationally. Due to her passion for maintaining the YETI culture and ensuring that all of the employees are able to realize their highest potential, she was uniquely qualified to take on the role of Director of Global Employee Experience & Development, which was offered to her in February 2018. Ivy’s mantra is “Do what you love and love what you do. It’s the only way to do great work!”
