Leadership: What’s Love Got to Do with It?

Date: 02/14/2018

Time: 12pm – 1pm

Place: Online

Summary

Hi HERdacity community and happy Valentine’s Day! Whether or not you chose to celebrate the day, we think love makes the world a stronger and kinder place. Please join us on Thursday, February 14th as we hear from Sarah Elliott with the Ellivate Alliance on how to bolster your leadership skills with a focus on love.

In business, the “L word” (love) is rarely mentioned. When love – compassion, forgiveness, commitment, inclusiveness, understanding – is nonexistent, leadership generally fails. True leadership not only requires love, it is love. Yet amazingly, love is rarely described as a leadership competency. Your future, and your success as a leader, depends on your capacity to authentically model this behavior. Learn to embrace the love for what you do, your passion, and the people and organization you lead and prepare to transform the future!

She will invite us to think about:

  1. What are some feminine leadership attributes that can transform the workplace?
  2. What is the difference between motivation and inspiration?
  3. What does “love” really mean?
  4. What impact do your beliefs have on not just you, but on those you lead?

48 hours prior to the event, HERdacity will e-mail out a link to access the webinar on Zoom.
