Economically Empowered Women: The 5 Essentials

Live Speaker Event – Economically Empowered

Are you the captain of your financial future?  Or do you find yourself putting off the discussion of financial details because it is too painful or too uncomfortable to face head on.  If you’re like many young, middle aged or older women, you put off thinking about your economic empowerment because:

  • You’re broke — You don’t feel you have any money to manage, so why bother?
  • You’re waiting — for the big bonus or ship to come in so you have something to work with.
  • It’s not your problem — someone else in your inner circle makes all those decisions for you so you don’t need to be in the know
  • Oh no — the thought of thinking about your financial status makes you physically ill.  Can we talk about something else?

Yet, women end up retiring with 30% less than men do and they live longer!

HERdacity hosted an event where attendees got to learn and ask questions about what we can be doing differently to be responsible for our financial futures and to feel less stressed about them.  The event had coffee and pastries, and was a great opportunity to network!

HERdacty’s guest speaker, Laura Pinto, a professional Wealth Advisor, draws on her extensive experience working with women to manage finances, plan their retirement and  build their economic futures.   She will share tips on what you can do right now to better understand your needs, assess decision and protect your financial future.
